Hantavirus is not contagious from person to person.
Early 1990s Hantavirus Fact Sheet (New Mexico Department of Health / CDC)A Hantavirus fact sheet from the early 1990s (issued by a U.S. government health department, most likely tied to the CDC during or right after the 1993 Four Corners outbreak) did clearly state that hantavirus is not contagious from person to person. That was accurate then… and it remains accurate today.
You catch it from breathing in dust from rodent urine, droppings, or saliva — not from other humans.
Save this. Share this. Original government facts still matter.
Here is a Hantavirus Fact sheet from the early 90’s from a Government Health Department. It CLEARLY states Hantavirus is NOT contagious! Everyone learn this and pass it on. This is so maddening to me.
In a leaked Jan 4, 2025 phone call (3 days before the Palisades Fire), LA Mayor Karen Bass spoke with resident John Alle about fire risks. Bass then gave a cryptic warning: “Hopefully you can read between the lines... hold tight. You will understand soon.”
The call has sparked questions amid the devastating fires that followed while she was abroad. She preemptively defended her upcoming Ghana trip: “Just so you know, I’m missing two workdays. That’s it. And if President Biden extends me an invitation, I took it.”
NEW: Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt absolutly rips Mayor Karen Bass for allowing homeless people to conduct "Nazi-like" experiments on animals.
Homeless people are reportedly feeding dogs drugs to test for fentanyl as well as setting them on fire.
"We have dogs to save. In downtown LA Karen Basura (trash) and Nithya Raman have facilitated the [abuse]..." Pratt said.
"Let's rally to save our pets from the zombies."
