Excited to present a collaborative project at @icahdq that came out of the post-pandemic, a precarious job market, and a repeated question being posed: "What is 'global' about global communication?" #ICA24
@CandiceBenbow Brooks and Hokas but go to a running store to get them to measure your foot and look at how you step before purchasing. Slow and steady is best. Try not to stop for weeks, even if you have to do some treadmill, starting over after breaks suckssss. Yoga helps with knees.
@fineassnayyyy 3 pieces 😩 Start building healthy habits now, it gets harder later. Travel and experience new things as much as you can, even if just small affordable adventures. Date widely and refuse to be rushed into things/romances your gut is telling you not to be in.
@shetheybeyonce Don’t prep well into the night before, relax, do something nice for yourself, rest. Your committee wants to see you do well and you will rarely get a group of experts so invested in one piece of your work, savor the process! It will go fast - take a minute to thank yourself.
@ravenscimaven Random hairs in random places. Workouts feel harder, fatigue takes over. Can’t mix and match with drinks anymore, hangover recovery will take all day. Sudden food intolerances like lactose. Need to hydrate more.
Day two of the symposium featured 15 speakers who discussed critical moments that shaped the development of media in various parts of the world. Pictured below (left to right) are @florencemadenga, @SandeepMertia, @kevindriscoll, & @Yangguobin. Photo credit:@AnnenbergPenn.
