While Chinese cat torturers are allowed to misuse our social media, a brave Chinese exposing animal cruelty has been suspended by the same company that allows that cat torture account below and many others. The suspended Chinese animal activist is very possibly in danger and has no way of telling the world.
Most of all its China's fault for not enacting #AnimalProtection laws like any pleasant country would have.

That dog WAS cooked this year at Yulin.
The dogs trafficked to #YulinDOGmeatFestival are not likely saved. Although nature stopped the gruesome festival with fire floods and earthquake, would the Chinese dog butchers have taken the dogmeat dogs to safety?
Although huge/household name organizations raise money for themselves at dogmeat festival time, they really don't rescue many dogs, if any at all. They definitely ignore the issue of #ChineseOnlineCatTorture

In China, there’s also a little hobby club, a cat torture network over
hundred thousand strong, where the pastime isn’t eating cats like in the dog meat trade but just torturing them for fun. No pretense of tradition or cuisine, just good old fashioned sadism dressed up as entertainment.

In China when greyhounds are too broken to race anymore, which doesn’t take long given how they’re treated, they sometimes get a “second chance” at the Yulin Dog Festival.

There, instead of running laps, they’r blowtorched alive like a culinary sacrifice to superstition because among the Chinese insect species, the more they suffer, the tastier the meat.

Your universe has no meaning to them. They will be cold, they will be tired and they will cook your pets to feed their bellies.

We often see claims that there are no dog farms in China and that most dogs in the trade are stolen pets. But let’s be realistic: it would be incredibly difficult to steal 10–20 million dogs every year. That number alone should raise questions.

At @pawsofchina @WeAreNotFood want to clear up this common misconception. While some dogs are stolen, the majority we see at slaughterhouses and meat markets in northern china are not stolen pets — they’re dogs rejected by pet dog breeders

There are certainly dog farms in China — particularly in the south. We went to one in Yulin June 2022 These farms are openly advertised on chinese social media platforms, and this has been well-documented by activists and rescuers alike.
