@brownliberite It's called rail + property. You develop the area around your train line, the prescense of the train line increases property value. You can then use the profit from the real estate to fund your rail line. Hong Kong is well known for this model.

@AnimarchyYT @AC_NavalHistory If Trump's name wasn't attached to it, some of the more ambitious unproven tech was framed as optional depending on future developments and the ship was presented as a Tico replacement (which It basically is) it would actually see a decent chance. But Trump's name scuppers that.

The maintenance facilities for the destroyers were made with only predictable deployments in mind so any emergency deployment would cause a ripple effect throughout the fleet. And the ships were overused.

@Gabriel64869839 This is probably going to be a larger version of the Damen mpss. The 9000 ton version has a hanger for a single nh90 so this ship will almost certainly also have a helicopter hanger of some type

@FennellJW I suspect it will be a lot more increased ships. The ccv would probably need 3 Arsenal boats and 1 radar boat each. Min of 2 boats to a type 26 and type 31. And independent ASW patrols by type 92 would require even more.

@DrChrisParry @JohnLee883653 That is all true but atleast for the near future I think unmanned ships should still operate alongside larger better equipped manned ships. Similar to how destroyers and cruisers used to operate together during ww1-ww2.
