Europe didn’t outsource its defense so much as rely on an alliance where the U.S. chose to be the dominant power. That may have let them spend differently—but their healthcare systems are funded by their own taxes, not ours. The U.S. chose that role. Defense spending and healthcare policy are separate political choices.
