@rascal007x@TheIntelFrog Without as as the “world police” since 1945 there would be far more war and chaos versus the relatively peaceful decades since compared to history prior.
@TheLtColUSMC@MocaTesla Be there next week - meeting my son in Sasebo and then we heading out to explore the whole country for 2 weeks. Any recommendations?
@cdrsalamander I am heading there next week - first time to visit my son stationed there and he is taking leave and we traveling the country for 2 weeks. Can’t wait - of course his momma is more excited to see him but also happy to travel Japan. 😎
“USS Abraham Lincoln headed for port in Thailand after 250 days at sea.”
The chaos that is about to ensue very few can understand.
Half a years saved paychecks, cheapest port call around, women behind display cases. Stay out of the boxing ring!

@CindySMBS@florida_grand@FloridaGirl314 “Unbearable” noise pollution? More misinformation… the only noise you may hear from one is the monthly generator testing that lasts all of 20 minutes.
@FloridaGirl314 I don’t know why we still talking about this - new data centers are closed loop cooling systems so beyond the initial entry of water it doesn’t use any after other than normal bathroom use….
My son is trying @johnkonrad - got his paperwork in and it says it was forwarded to hiring but hasn’t heard a thing in over a month. He even went and took some certs at a school in Jax. Wants Entry Level- any help?
A few years ago, a young engineer at Maritime College got into knife making.
I commissioned him to make a knife of a very unusual and exceedingly difficult design. He failed. Repeatedly. For over a year.
Then he went aboard a ship and learned new machine shop skills.
He delivered the knife, then moved on to win the hit series Forged in Fire.
Here’s the machine shop aboard the Navy’s newest fast oiler.
Go join MSC and learn a skill.
@TimSheehyMT So what’s the answer - legitimately curious? I know nothing about ranching but love beef…and certainly don’t want to see American Ranchers hurt - but prices are high
