If you read one article today, it should be former CIA analyst Paul Pillar’s alarm bell of how the Senate wants to force the US to share sensitive intel with Israel at the expense of the US itself.
“In intelligence, Israel is more of an adversary than an ally. Being an adversary in intelligence means indulging in the hostile act of espionage. Israel has a long record of conducting that type of hostile act against the United States.

ICC prosecutor temporarily suspended pending 'sexual misconduct' allegations probe
——
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has formally suspended Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan pending a sexual misconduct probe, a move that coincides with intense political pressure and threats linked to his pursuit of arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Khan, who has been sanctioned by the US, and was reportedly warned to drop the Gaza cases or be "destroyed," maintains that these proceedings are a politically motivated smear campaign designed to undermine the court's independence.
The governing body has referred his case to a special session of all 125 member states to vote on his removal.
While a UN inquiry initially cited a "factual basis" for the allegations, a subsequent legal assessment by a three-judge panel concluded the investigation was "not conclusive enough" to establish any breach of duty.
Khan’s legal team has denounced the suspension as "unlawful, procedurally unfair and unsupported by evidence," highlighting that the judges unanimously found the evidence failed to establish misconduct.
This disciplinary action mirrors a history of external pressure against ICC officials who scrutinize Israeli actions, such as the threats and political interests previously faced by Khan’s predecessor, Fatou Bensouda.

That's what Israel First is: siding with that foreign country over "your own."🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
The magnitude of what just happened may take some time to sink in.
This is the first time Iran has struck Israel after Israel struck another country's territory (that is, not Iran).
This means that the battle lines have been moved.
Iran's deterrence had already been restored in the sense that Israel knew that any strike on it would be responded to.
But now, Iran has proven that it will also respond to Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
This is the first time in decades that a regional power has the means, capacity, and willingness to put hard power against Israeli military maneuvers or aggression against a third party.

Due to my career, I know more about technology and foreign intelligence than most Americans.
I am uniquely qualified to express how dangerous it is that a foreign government, particularly Israel, would be allowed to sit an intelligence agent at the head of our Defense apparatus who would pass information, including top secret data on research technology, troop movements, internal planning, and political planning to their host nation.
This is a clear insider threat, and Democratic leadership must whip the votes to strip out this section of the NDAA.

This is completely false @RepDanGoldman
Neither Lebanon War Powers Res — nor any WPR in history — would ever deem "general intelligence sharing" to be "hostilities"
But US intel sharing to enable Israeli attacks IS hostilities — and is apparently what Goldman wants to protect
France opens war crimes probe over treatment of Gaza-bound flotilla activists
——
French anti-terrorism prosecutors said on Friday that they had launched a preliminary investigation into alleged torture and war crimes linked to the treatment of French nationals by Israeli authorities after they took part in an activist flotilla headed to Gaza.
The investigation stems from Israel's interception of the vessel, which activists said was attempting to deliver humanitarian assistance to Gaza and challenge Israel's naval blockade of the territory.
France's anti-terrorism prosecutor's office (PNAT) said the probe was opened following a referral from the French Foreign Ministry on 28 May.
According to PNAT, the referral was made under Article 40 of France's criminal procedure code, which obliges public officials to report suspected criminal offenses.
The inquiry focuses on allegations of torture and war crimes and has been assigned to France's specialized unit for investigating crimes against humanity and hate crimes (OCLCH).
Organizers of the flotilla alleged that activists were mistreated while in Israeli custody, claiming several were hospitalized with injuries and that at least 15 reported sexual assaults, including rape. All of the activists have since been released.
Lebanon's Civil Defense in the south reported that five people, including a paramedic, were killed and one person was wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Zebdine.

He’s called for Hezbollah be disarmed, but issued no demand for immediate Israeli withdrawal
His mandate comes not from Lebanon’s population, which opposes normalization, but from the US and Saudi governments that installed him
