The FL Division of Emergency Management works to ensure that FL is prepared to respond to emergencies, recover from them, and mitigate against their impacts.
🏆 Tonight, emergency management professionals from across Florida and beyond are gathering for the Second Annual Awards Gala at #FTEM2026, celebrating the #ExcellenceInAction that makes Florida a national leader.
We are honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor @JayCollinsFL as he joins us in recognizing the dedication, professionalism, and impact of those who serve Florida’s communities before, during, and after disasters.
Emergency management is built on leadership, innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to serving others.
This evening recognizes the individuals, teams, and partners who exemplify these values and whose dedication and service continue to strengthen our communities and profession.

🚛 SIP students got a firsthand look at the scale of Florida's readiness efforts, exploring a warehouse stocked with 3.5 million gallons of water, 3 million shelf-stable meals, and hundreds of thousands of critical supplies ready to support communities when disasters strike.
