@OctopusEnergy@g__j@g__j one of things we need to do is remove the artificial boundary lines for smart meter types and use the right meter and radio type in the right location! Then mine will work!...
Great to see @jennyranderson draw attention to our recent report’s findings over the VAT discrepancy between public and private #EV charging and calling on @hmtreasury to reduce VAT to 5% at public charge points to promote EV take up and accessibility!
We have a driveway so can charge our car for £1.80. If we had to rely on public chargers, that could cost as much as £24! 🤯
The government need to do some good for a change.
Sign the @fairchargeuk petition for lower VAT on public charging, and more. ⚡️

@TeslaInTheUK Without government intervention EV charging will create a class divide between those who can charge at home and those cannot, this will also drive a devaluation of houses that cannot support home charging....
@EpicWinningMaz This is fantastic news but unless the government closes the gap between the cost of home charging and on street public charging we will create an unintended class system and take value off home with no option for chargers
@CyberSnark We need to stop causing confusion with IT/OT/IoT!!!
When things are put in discreet buckets we end up with conflicting policies and different levels of maturity in the same organisation...
