Turns out if you call a sheep 'lonely' then the whole nation wants them to be rescued. It's a shame they don't feel the same about the millions killed every year in slaughterhouses 🙄

Never, in over 20 years teaching, have I had to wait over three hours to book a single exam (and I’m still waiting). This can’t possibly be a “better” system than pen and paper, @ABRSM? 🙄
No GCSEs or A-Level exams this summer, but they've been replaced by classroom 'assessments' and 'tests' (exams by another name) in seemingly double the number. Lots of anxious, stressed-out Y11 and Y12 students at the moment. So sad to see after everything they've been through ☹️
A member of staff told me today that any child struggling academically in class should not be allowed to learn an instrument during school time..... thoughts on their opinion?
"Plans for 50% funding cut to arts subjects at universities ‘catastrophic’": as schools & colleges look to celebrate #EduArtsFest on 28 May, a bleak reminder that the government takes a different view of the importance of the arts: https://t.co/Fv159l4xvE
I reckon this pandemic generation of children will go on to amaze us. (And even if I didn't that's what I'd be telling them because children live up to your expectations.) 😉😎
Great that schools are opening but pls could teachers be vaccinated? As a peri teacher, I go into 3 different institutions a week, coming into contact with loads of kids from multiple year groups - all blowing their instrument at me. Surely I’m at risk (myself & as a spreader!)
Why are teachers not being vaccinated right now? Who else has to sit in an enclosed space with 30+ other people, all day long, breathing the same air, with no screens, no high grade PPE, no proper protection? This is a national scandal. Teachers need public support on this!
