🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran’s Supreme National Security Council statement:
"The Islamic Republic of Iran, under the leadership of its martyred leader, has completed its success over the American-Zionist enemy"
War and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, end immediately and permanently from tonight. Naval blockade lifted immediately.
Official MoU signing is on Friday, June 19. That final deal will only happen after the U.S. fulfills its commitments.
Tehran declares clear victory.

A 60-day oil sanctions lifting just to get Iran to keep negotiating would give them about $10 billion.
And that’s not even including unfrozen assets for “humanitarian purchases.”
So if you think this deal is necessary, fine. But don’t gaslight that Iran isn’t being given money.
Iranian Mehr News Agency has published the supposed 14 clauses of the MOU
$12 billion of Iran's frozen funds to be released before negotiations begin, with another $12 billion during the 60-day final negotiation window.
Oil and petrochemical sanctions suspended.
Full naval blockade lifted within 30 days.
The U.S. commits to non-interference in Iranian affairs, withdrawal of forces from around Iran, and no new sanctions or force deployments during negotiations.
An immediate ceasefire is required on all fronts, including Lebanon.
The Strait of Hormuz reopens within 30 days under Iranian arrangements.
Iran reaffirms its NPT commitment not to produce nuclear weapons.
A 60-day window is set to negotiate a final deal covering nuclear issues and full sanctions removal.
The U.S. and allies must also present reconstruction plans worth at least $300 billion.
Iran's missile program and support for resistance groups are removed from the agenda entirely.
No final negotiations begin until the $12 billion is released, oil sanctions are suspended, and the blockade is lifted.
A supervisory mechanism will oversee implementation, with any final agreement approved by UN Security Council resolution.
The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome.
Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up?
The only reason why you wouldn’t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.
🚨Mark Carney is celebrating 10% trade growth with France. 🇫🇷
Canada-France trade: ~$12B annually
10% increase: ~$1.2B
Canada-USA trade: $1.1 TRILLION annually🇺🇸
CUSMA at risk: 2 million jobs exposed
He’s celebrating a $1.2B gain
while risking a $1.1 trillion relationship.
That’s not diversification.
That’s a distraction. 🇨🇦📉

Very little detail here.
Does no money changing hands only mean physical cash? Or does that cover bank asset unfreezing and sanctions too?
What’s the monitoring and enforcement mechanism? Is enrichment allowed? What does “appropriate time” mean?
@JeffreyBrandes Tax schemes need to be tailored to individual communities. However, I’m more than willing to see a combination of sales and use taxes, along with fees that target tourists to help cover the costs. We also need to see a reduction in bloated bureaucracies and budgets.
🚨BREAKING:
🇺🇸🇮🇷Trump's team was ready to fly to Geneva this weekend for a deal-signing ceremony with Iran.
Iran just said there is no deal to sign.
That's not a minor miscommunication. The US publicly telegraphed a signing ceremony. Iran publicly called it a "mistaken understanding of US proposals and wishes."
One side is describing a finish line. The other side says the race is still running.
Either the Trump administration is leaking optimism to pressure Iran into closing faster, or they genuinely believed a deal was closer than it is.

@JeffreyBrandes Let’s end the charade that local governments won’t receive funding. The question is which funding source offers the best check on government spending to protect taxpayers. Local governments have demonstrated their eagerness to spend every penny of property tax increases.

— Discussions about Iran's missile program and support for resistance groups are definitively removed from the agenda
President Trump ends a war with Iran on average every 3-1/2 hours.
He's up to 617 Iran wars ended just in the past three months.
If this doesn't deserve a Nobel Peace Prize, I don't know what does.
@HollyBullardFL As he acknowledges, even “conservative” local governments self-inflicted this problem by spending recklessly without any fiscal restraint, and that’s the crux of the matter. Government needs the friction of constraints and the approval of voters to maintain discipline.
