They're still the Fed's precious airline, granted privilege, priority, and favour across all of the government-owned airports in Canada. It's interconnected corruption.
AC is still Canada's monopoly state airline, even though it went fully private in 1989, and is publicly traded on the TSX. That means diddly-squat though in the realm of politics and state-controlled economics.
AC is not accountable, and is still government influenced. Nor does it give a rat's *ss about operations, due to the fixed economic system and corruption amidst the federally owned airports with their government partnered airport authorities. For AC to basically control Terminal 1 at Pearson Airport in Toronto is a vile travesty.
