@BobEstesPGA When I flew B-52’s at Dyess AFB I was a member of Abilene CC then Fairway Oaks where Mr Coody was Director of Golf. Having played college golf at Air Force, I was really lucky to be stationed there. Played a few times with his son, Kyle. Charles is a class act.

Great article about 1971 Masters Champion Charles Coody. I was a B-52 copilot in Abilene 1982-84. Member of Abilene CC then Coody’s Fairway Oaks CC. Played a few times with his soon Kyle. Both clubs allowed Air Force personnel special membership. Loved Abilene and people there.
