Saudi Arabia’s Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that Saturday’s missile attack on King Khalid International Airport killed 12 people and injured 309, including several critically wounded.
The fatalities include four Saudis, two Bangladeshis and nationals of the United States, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Egypt. Yemen’s Houthis have claimed responsibility.
The attack marks the third strike against Riyadh airport this week and the deadliest reported attack on Saudi civilian aviation infrastructure during the current escalation. Airport operations were suspended, with flights cancelled or diverted.
