Really good piece by Denis Walsh.
Denis Walsh: The strongest candidate to succeed Derek Lyng at Kilkenny is not who you think – The Irish Times https://t.co/XWWauPeI23
Derek Lyng has informed Kilkenny County Board that he is stepping down as Kilkenny senior hurling team manager.
His association with Kilkenny hurling spans almost three decades, during which he served the county with distinction as a player, selector and manager.
Sad to see such revisionism with Ibou Konate from some fans. Came as a kid who from a diff league and fully integrated himself into the LFC way of operating. Under the guidance of Matip and Vvd became one of the best channel and one on one cbs around. Didnt have a great last season but plenty of others didnt either. Lost a mate and lost a father. Now we say good bye Ibou ..you’ll never walk alone 🙏🏽❤️

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
Good riddance. Rare I cheer Dublin. Many spoiled and entitled players, some who are scum. What kind of manager is on a car bonnet hammered? What kind of person is trying to hit cattle with sliothar? And this after criminality some have been protected from of late. #limerick#gaa
Remembering Cillian Flaherty 🤍
His spirit, determination, and strength shone brightly on Ireland's Fittest Family.
As his family's episode airs this evening, our thoughts are with his loved ones.
