Thought 70
Thought about photo retouching: photos and images should be prepared with regard to where and under what conditions they will be viewed.
1/5
Consider the material of the image (it can be an ELT screen or matte paper), the lighting around it, and the length of time the viewer will be in the room with the image.
4/5
The approach is the same as for logos. In both cases, it is a symbol that should trigger associations (with a company or function). And this symbol can be used in many places: in a dark alley or in bright light.

Thought 69
If you finished early and have some time left
If, for example, you were given the task of creating an icon, it would be good to show how it works in the interface, how it fits in with the other icons, and whether it is easy to change its color.
1/2
For a couple of hours something good may well be born. Maybe even earlier, maybe for half an hour, but if you know that you do not need to fit into this half hour, then the head will not be distracted for such a term and nervous, and the result will be better.

Thought 68
Time is always short for creative tasks
If you have a visual concept, research or creative task to do, I suggest you clear your calendar for it in advance.
1/3
Such tasks require diving: not only to get introduced, but also to put your head with this task alone without any distractions for a long time. I mean to take half an hour to work out the concept is not an option.
2/3
The non-transparent process can lead to inflated expectations of the client in terms of time, so it is important to clearly specify the stages of work and fix agreements in writing.

The diamond is the symbol of Sketch (https://t.co/qdr77Mbt0N). But right now it doesn't sparkle like a diamond should. Let's try to fix that. On the left is the current icon. On the right is the one with the shining diamond.

Even if it's some super-hypermega-corporate thing with a lot of databases and tables, where usually everyone wants to put aesthetics aside. It's used by people too.

Thought 67
Reward the user
In most interfaces, the most a user will get for their hard work is a text message about a successful action. Fewer users will also see a checkmark next to it. Even fewer will see a bigger checkmark or even an illustration.

1/3
This is reasonable when you receive dozens of such messages a day. But for rare and complex actions (for example, a couple of times a week) you can show the user something that will really look like a small reward for his work.
