The core problem Perle Labs is solving starts with how AI models are actually built. Most frontier models were trained by essentially crawling the internet billions of web pages, Reddit threads, Wikipedia articles, and scraped text with very little filtering or authencity check.
But the internet is full of misinformation, disinformation, duplicated content, and deeply biased narratives. The models absorbed all of it, indiscriminately, with no signal telling them what was trustworthy and what wasn't.
Underneath all of this sits a deeper structural problem there is no accountability in today's AI data pipelines. If a model gives you bad output, you cannot trace why. You cannot see what training data influenced it, who reviewed it, whether anyone qualified ever touched it, or where it originally came from.

Most AI companies can't answer a simple question:
Where did your training data come from?
Who labeled it?.
What credentials they had? Whether it was verified. Whether it was tampered with. They can't answer because they never built the infrastructure to answer.
Data scraped from the internet. No quality standard. No audit trail.

Here's what most people don't realize about how AI actually gets trained

Every model GPT, Claude, Gemini, all of them learns from labeled data. Humans look at text, images, audio, medical records, legal documents, and tell the AI what things mean. That's called annotation.
