NEW ONLINE: Barley AGO4 proteins show overlapping functionality with distinct small RNA-binding properties in heterologous complementation https://t.co/kRaMx8XcPV
Exciting news for @pdbg_mate! Our new research in barley AGO4 proteins and their small RNA-binding properties is now published on @PlantCellRep. Read more about my PhD journey here: https://t.co/0d80nFURZc
Amidst writing my thesis and unending data analysis, my A.thaliana rose varieties in the greenhouse are little motivators that fill me with joy. While there is little love for the aesthetics of A.thaliana, it's the "simplicity" and sheer knowledge it's given us that is beautiful
I am mega proud of this achievement 🎉
1. Some @COST_PlantEd WG1 members summarized the challenges related to CRISPR in plants 10 years after its first publication.
2. Our paper was highlighted as a cover story, and my wife, @Pounehnsl, made the drawing ❤️

Are you interested in RNA-Protein complexes and RNA secondary structure?
We are opening a postdoctoral position to determine the roles and the in vivo single molecule secondary structures of novel regions interacting with DCL1.
If you are interested, contact us before 20.08.23!
Since the discovery of CRISPR-Cas systems, people have wondered if a similar type of system exists in eukaryotes. Today, we report in @Nature the characterization of Fanzor, a eukaryotic RNA-guided system that can be reprogrammed for human genome editing. https://t.co/aKLMMEBRkk
A newly identified protein🧬 confers drought tolerance🌡️ to plants 🌱
#CRAG work from @bactodeath@EPitsili & collab. published in @NewPhyt found that AtMC3 increased levels confer tolerance to drought without affecting plant yield!🥵🌍

Really happy to share our newest research!
"A fungal RNA-dependent RNA polymerase is a novel player in plant infection and cross-kingdom RNAi."
We developed a novel switch-on GFP reporter to study cross-kingdom RNAi in real-time during plant infection. https://t.co/pdlZQYD6Q4
Interested in macromolecular interactions? Our new PISA-lite software generates more interaction data than ever, with detailed information on individual interfaces and atom-atom interactions. Data access is through PDBe API endpoints and JSON files.
