Congrats to Nolyn Mjema on being named the 2022 Jim Thorpe Boys Tennis Player of the Year by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame! #HuskyNation#beGREAT@ENHSTennis
Congratulations to Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for being named Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year! This honor has been bestowed annually since 1954, and Shai is the first Oklahoman to receive it as the named recipient.
This is also @shaiglalex’s first print @SInow cover and OKC’s first in seven years. (This feat has gotten more difficult since the magazine became a monthly. Of course, OKC has enjoyed digital covers, including one on our Olympic journey just two weeks ago.)

@the_transit_guy Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. A major city and commercial port on Tanzania’s Indian Ocean coast, grew from a fishing village to a population of more than 6 millions.
Nimepata tabu kuandika kwa kifupi kuelezea simanzi na masikitiko yangu kwa msiba mkubwa ulioukumba nchi yetu kwa kuondokewa na mpendwa wetu Mheshimiwa Rais @MagufuliJP . Nimelazimika kuyaambatisha hapa chini. Mwenyezi Mungu amuweke mahala pema, peponi.

@mtanzania Fair enough. But infrastructure and execution is very poor. For example, many folks in the diaspora have M-PESA and other mobile money accounts... All about to go Kaput. Disregard for financial impact to citizenry is very surprising.
