Today is International Day of #Education, yet millions of #Afghan girls have been deprived of their fundamental right to education for more than three years. Through the imposition of unjust and misogynistic decrees, the #Taliban have barred girls from attending school and taken their future hostage.
We must not allow the girls of #Afghanistan to lose hope or their dreams for future. Today is not merely a day of commemoration, but a day for action and urgent response a day to hold the perpetrators of this blatant crime against humanity accountable.
