The proposal is criminal charges and the loss of Citizenship for organisations that "put South Africa in a bad light" overseas, as well as their supporters.

The ANC is gearing up to remove every trace of free speech in South Africa.

Lamola now also calls for measures that will allow government to go after anyone who they determine to spreading false information about South Africa.

The problem with this is, once the government gets to determine what you can and can't say they will arrest everyone who doesn't say exactly what they want you to say.

Complaints about service delivery? Treason
Complaints about immigrants? Treason
Complaints about crime? Treason

They will arrest you to silence any criticism against them. If you don't believe me, just look at history. No government on earth has EVER used speech controls for good.
