Hayden Panettiere says she was given “happy pills” by people on her team when she was just 15 to make her more energetic for red carpets and interviews while she was starring in Heroes.
She recalled being told, “Here, take one of these, it’s a happy pill, it’ll give you energy,” explaining that she didn’t realize at the time that she was being given a drug.
Panettiere said the pills were “something similar to Adderall” and that they made her feel happier and more energetic without realizing the potential consequences.
“They were to make me peppy during interviews. I had no idea that this was not an appropriate thing, or what door that would open for me when it came to my addiction.”
She also says the adults around her prioritized her career and income over protecting her, explaining, “I had people around me who were making money off of me, and you don’t want to rock the boat when the boat is making you money.”
Panettiere revealed, “There were so many people that should have stepped in. There were so many adults in my life who were supposed to protect me, who saw what was going on and looked the other way because as long as I was working, the machine kept running.”
She added, “I was the breadwinner from the time I was a little girl. When you are the one funding everyone’s lives, the dynamic completely flips. You don't have parents anymore—you have managers, you have employees, and nobody wants to tell the golden goose to stop.”
In the end, her legacy remains a powerful, urgent warning about the critical need to protect young performers from the very industries that make them stars.

Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Forman (30) was shot and killed by her husband before he turned the gun on himself.
Gabby was on a FaceTime call with her mother when an argument was overheard. Gabby’s mother saw the husband, Jadet Forman, come in, take the phone, and end the call. Her brother went to check on Gabby and that is when he heard gunfire. 💔
They had been married for two years and were going through a divorce.
Heartbreaking breaking news: Hayden Panettiere has died at just 36 years old, leaving behind her young daughter, Kaya. 💔
Hayden spoke openly over the years about her struggles with postpartum depression, alcoholism and addiction. She never hid how difficult those battles could be, and her willingness to talk about them helped countless women feel less alone.
Whatever the circumstances surrounding her death, 36 is far too young. My heart breaks for her daughter, who now has to grow up without her mom.
May Hayden rest in peace, and may her little girl be surrounded by love, strength and protection in the days and years ahead. 🙏🏼
A single Black woman recently bought her first home in Antioch CA. She's since been constantly racially harassed by her neighbor Gabriel Ramirez, even to the point of having to obtain a restraining order. It seems to have little effect as he's seen continuing to harangue her.
Traded true love for some clout and be treated like shit. This bitch is getting dumped as soon as Lamine comes out of his adolescence.
Another example of women only being loyal to their feelings.
