Soldiers from 5th Canadian Division traveled to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador to conduct Ex MAROON NUNATSUAK. This test to sub-arctic readiness enables more Canadian Army soldiers to operate in the Arctic with skills learned on these readiness exercises.

We will never forget the brave Newfoundlanders who fought on this day at Beaumont-Hamel.
Some 800 Newfoundlanders went into battle that day. Only 68 were able to answer the roll call the following day.
We will remember them.
