@JoeGoodberry@FanaticCincy From a Cincy based Eagles fan. He would have the same issue for the Bengals that he did for the Eagles. He’s not good enough to start and he does not play special teams. You just can’t justify a roster spot for a backup linebacker that doesn’t want to play special teams.
@Thorongil16 Brown has hit Moreno hard on stealing wages at his car dealerships. I think car dealer owner is a bad type of candidate in Ohio (maybe everywhere) because you are not really respected by wealthy suburbanites and you can still have the anti-worker stories.
@lxeagle17 Yeah 93% seems accurate the police union already endorsed Landsman and the issues with Sonza keep mounting. Likely D seems like the right rating but it’s approaching Solid D which is consistent with the model.
@AndrewJTobias It would be pretty impressive if you had. He played in the 70s and never made the final roster. He was a part of the Dolphins 74 preseason roster and the Browns 75 preseason roster but was cut before the regular season by both teams.
@OkayHeyJay This may be a by product of age polarization around this issue and older peoples tendency to vote earlier. Worth seeing if this continues as we start to get full counties.
@lxeagle17 Feel like it’s worth noting that is a county that has had some major flooding over the last couple of years. Very possible that Besher’s response to natural disasters moves the needle is some of the counties in Kentucky that have recently experienced these type of disasters.
@HeadDistributor@BruneElections Certainly not but issue 1 is also a very high bar in terms of impact and saliency. It’s clear that issue 1 can drive turnout spikes as was shown in august and in other states. The local ballot issue is also abnormal in how prominent it is and could help drive turnout as well.
@DrewSav It’s honestly pretty challenging to draw out dem incumbents in OH when you factor in the likely preferences of GOP incumbents. I could see a lot of things happening but it really wouldn’t shock me if the republicans just decide to let the current map stand.
BREAKING - The Ohio Secretary of State's office has certified petition signatures for the proposed abortion amendment for the November 7 ballot. If approved by voters, it would enshrine abortion rights into the state's constitution. 🧵
Back to D.C. to vote on the negotiated deal to avoid default, pursue a budget that protects Social Security/Medicare.
With a divided Congress, compromise is the only option.
Now we need bipartisan, pragmatic leaders to get this done.
That's who I am. I'll be a yes vote.
