When COVID-19 hit, scientists at @UWMedicine joined forces to develop a protein-based vaccine.

The vaccine, called #SKYCovione, has just been approved in South Korea with more approvals under review.

Now the team is working to create universal vaccines to stop all variants.

SK bioscience, the company leading clinical development abroad, found the vaccine outperformed Oxford/AstraZeneca’s in the clinic.
