Rarely we watch movies that evoke the inner philosopher in us. This scene is as close to a cathartic experience in a film as I have ever seen,.the realization, the release, the hope for redemption-all delineated in a perfect sequence.

@Dentonandsas There is this Michael Connelly novel where it is used as a body dump site. It is pretty big part of the set up. Now I notice it whenever I drive by the infamous Zzyzx exit!
@iabhi0717 Jinda with John and Sanju Baba copy of Oldboy. Jazzba copy of a Korean film too but Idk who is the director. He is probably looking for his next inspiration rn 😆
As a filmmaker, I believe cinema should entertain, inspire, and connect with audiences. It should never make anyone feel uncomfortable or disrespected. We have heard the feedback regarding certain scenes in Peddi and have taken it seriously.
I have always had immense respect for women, both on and off screen, and it was never our intention to objectify or disrespect any female character. If any part of the film has been perceived that way, we respect those sentiments, understand the concerns being raised, and sincerely apologize.
After reviewing the feedback, we have decided to make changes to the concerned portions. Cinema grows through its connection with audiences, and as storytellers, we have a responsibility to be mindful of evolving perspectives and sensitivities.
Every woman deserves to be respected, valued, and represented with dignity. We remain committed to telling stories that celebrate strong characters and uphold those values.
Thank you to everyone who shared their views honestly and sincerely."
Impossible to overstate how good he was as Giles, or as Uther. For me he will forever be Giles, for some he will be Uther. That's how good he was. He provided so much depth to Giles and so much love for Buffy, a northstar for the kids in the show and those watching it.
The Buffy episode where they finally took advantage of of Tony Head's musical theater background and terrific singing voice to do a "your favorite teacher has hidden depths" was such a great moment. https://t.co/5esjlyhT53
From a sea of vibrant blooms to a pile of rubble. Asia's largest flower market in Howrah was crushed by bulldozers today. A devastating loss for thousands.

'Just got asked what’s the kind of role I’m looking for. And I surprised myself when it came to me.
Remember Zaffar from luck by chance? That’s the one.
I’d jump on something like that.
But directors only wanna see me play the good guy'
CINDERELLA MAN was released 21 years ago.
Ron Howard fought to keep it’s Depression-era realism intact, recreating overcrowded tenements, relief lines & boxing venues to emphasize that Braddock’s story was as much about survival as it was about sports.
"Whatever runs faster than time faces social barricades." That was the core philosophy of the 𝘔𝘰𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘪 movement, and sums up the life of the band's frontman, Gautam Chattopadhyay. When Gautam Da launched Moheener Ghoraguli in the 1970s, the audience largely rejected them, calling them "hippies." Fast forward to 1995, Gautam Da released the comeback album 𝘈𝘣𝘢𝘳 𝘉𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘳 𝘒𝘶𝘳𝘪 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘺 at the Kolkata Book Fair. On the final day, he, along with a group of young musicians, grabbed their acoustic guitars and began walking through the dusty fairgrounds, weaving through the crowd and casually singing "𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪 𝘵𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘪 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘺, 𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘺." As onlookers began to pay attention, the trailing crowd gradually began to swell. By the time they reached the exit, hundreds of music lovers had joined them. The procession kept singing the chorus in unison all the way to Park Street.
Gautam Chattopadhyay and 𝘔𝘰𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘪 tasted success much later in their career, and it is tragic that just four years later, in 1999, he left us, leaving behind his musical revolution. He was an artist who never got his due while he was alive.
Yesterday was his birthday.
Thanks,@Mads00108 for the reminder.
@ClassicMovieHub I get why this film flopped but I feel for people like me who love it, for them it hits really hard. She was really great in it. So was everyone else. Sublime how it dealt with loneliness and the desparation of lonely people to not be so.
