@briannekimmel All comments here agree it takes longer, and more expensive to fill a role, not including the cost of potential wrong hire. I feel that many may be looking at the wrong place for the right talent. Just so you know, job sites only cover 25% of the candidates available for hire.

I am difficult to work with, said my co-workers! :) They say I work like a robot and it's difficult for others to keep up and I have high work standards. While I'm working on being a better teamplayer, I always seek team members who are team players too. Here's how you find them.
Is a co-worker difficult to work with?
Is someone in the team contributing less compared to others?
Team players understand everyone has different working styles and would put aside differences to drive towards a common goal.

@40deuce@benlucier While I've met some that still follow this traditional screening, I've also met some HR who are looking at your current soft skill sets + learning ability + potentials. I'm hoping to see more hiring based on performance, not experience or background soon.
@AstralLobo @COCO4Art Hey use tools such as https://t.co/64Dnhg1YXb to help screen your candidates. It tells you who qualify and who doesn't based on your selection criteria, saving your time by a lot. Try it out.
@40deuce@benlucier I look forward to the day HR stops depending on CVs to evaluate candidates based on experience, but focus on potentials. Spoke to a HR today. He has skills assessment & candidate's plan for growth report but say CVs is enough for hiring managers to "keep to standard procedure"😔
Hey @damonchen I've been getting super short testimonials like "it was great", "good hiring process", "good experience". Too short for me to publish for it to be useful. Would be nice to have a min word count if possible :)
