@BBCBreakfast Justin from Panorama kept saying Motorists pay road tax… in the U.K. road tax was abolished in 1937 thanks to Churchill. There is VED… but everyone who pays tax, pays fares on public transport, and businesses pay for the roads. Accurate reporting would be great.

@howsmydriving28 @CostaCoffee I was refused service in the drive thru at the costa coffee in bagshot in August 2020, as I was on my road bike and not a car. I’d bonked hard and their sit in cafe was closed due to covid. Had to walk the last KM of an 90km as I’d run out of food.

I think I underestimated the scale of the latest wave of omicron which looks like it will get close to 200,000 cases per day soon . The new BA4/5 variants look more infectious, able to reinfect people, but severe illness rare. Thanks for logging as we track how symptoms change
