DoS prevention mechanism, too?? Interesting....I wonder if the #lumen#xlm was used during the #Elon#Trump "live" interview...to stop the DDos attack....🤔

Mastercard does not mention @StellarOrg directly in today’s historic settlement announcement.
But if you follow the infrastructure layers, Stellar is already part of the picture.
But the direction is becoming increasingly clear.
@Mastercard is expanding 24/7 stablecoin settlement across regulated digital assets and supported blockchain networks.
The scope is broader than many realize.
Mastercard’s supported blockchain ecosystem now includes Arbitrum, Base, Canton, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Tempo and XRPL.
Issuers and acquirers can now settle card transactions around the clock using regulated stablecoins such as USDC, PYUSD, USDG and RLUSD, including weekends and holidays.
That is a meaningful step toward always-on financial infrastructure.
At the same time, many of the infrastructure layers behind these systems are beginning to converge.
Tempo has now been added to Mastercard’s supported blockchain ecosystem. Tempo, backed by @stripe and Paradigm, is a payments-first network designed to support enterprise-scale stablecoin settlement and programmable payment flows, building on the broader payment infrastructure being developed across the industry.
Mastercard is also supporting settlement with @circle’s $USDC. Following the launch of native CCTP on @StellarOrg in May 2026, USDC can now move seamlessly across supported networks without relying on traditional third-party bridges.
Meanwhile, Stellar has been part of Mastercard’s Crypto Credential ecosystem since 2024, helping enable verified and compliant interactions across blockchain networks.
Stripe, Bridge, Circle, Tempo and Stellar may operate at different layers of the stack, but together they are contributing to the infrastructure being built for the next generation of global payments.
Viewed individually, these announcements may seem unrelated.
Viewed together, they point toward a larger transformation in how money, assets and liquidity move across global financial infrastructure.
Different layers.
Same infrastructure shift.

@bagholdertard Stellar’s role matters, but not in the "MGUSD uses XLM" way.
Stellar is the identity, compliance, and settlement layer and XLM is the token that secures and operates that network.
More network usage = more XLM demand indirectly.
It’s not a pump mechanism
MGUSD announcement yesterday. Multi‑chain settlement today (ETH, SOL, Base, ARB, XRPL).
Not coincidence..... sequencing.
#Stellar’s role matters here: it’s the only chain running Mastercard Crypto Credential and the home chain for #MGUSD.
Identity first → then settlement
NEW: @Mastercard expands settlement to support regulated stablecoins including $USDC, $RLUSD and $PYUSD across Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum and XRPL.

$XRP biggest news is that they’re building on stellar:native. 😂
DTCC selected Ripple, alongside 50 other firms like BlackRock and JPMorgan, to participate in its new tokenization service.
The same service is connected to stellar:native as the preferred public blockchain.
The praise for #Stellar right now is loud, but give it a dip and the same accounts will flip the script. That’s what happens when people chase narratives instead of understanding the tech.
When evaluating blockchain networks, @The_DTCC focuses on key priorities aligned to institutional requirements.
The Stellar network aligns strongly across these areas ⬇️
#1 Compliance-minded architecture.
"By January 2027, we enter a whole new era."
Last night at #FWSF, @PrajitNanu and @NikhilChandhok made the case: stablecoins aren't just a payments innovation.
They're a balance sheet innovation, which frees up trillions of dollars sitting idle in nostro accounts.
Also, the real unlock isn't speed – it's programmability.
We're building for what's next, alongside partners like @Circle – shaping how digital assets and traditional finance rails converge.
