@stuartlosaltos I’m a die-hard lefty who is also utterly dismayed by the left’s adoption of the nonsensical notions that A) there is a pure position in all matters; B) they are uniquely qualified to know what it is; and C) they therefore have the right to police everyone else
Prize to documentary about the discovery and implications of non-specific effects of vaccines.
Bert Ehgartner's new documentary "Dead or Alive - The Vaccine Paradox" won the prize for Best Health and Medicine Subject Related Film at its very first festival. It is now on its way to more festivals. #NSEvac
@miriam_cates Until wages bear some relation to the actual cost of living - and at a high enough level that families can afford to have at least one able-bodied member NOT working then the idea that the state can delegate care to families and communities is bonkers - and wrong
We won’t even get to see the final Assisted Dying Bill before we’re asked to vote for it. That’s why I’ve signed this letter with 50 other MPs asking for more time. 1/2
The 3rd Reading of the #AssistedDyingBill is on Friday yet it remains hugely flawed. The PMB process has been woefully inadequate.
- Only 12 of 133 amendments tabled have had a vote
- Just 14% of MPs have had the chance to speak on it
Not good enough for such a profound change.
Hull West & Haltemprice MP Emma Hardy will be voting against the #AssistedDyingBill after abstaining previously.
A really thoughtful statement from yet another MP who finds themselves unable to support this unsafe Bill. https://t.co/aGdnWc6piM
@RnaudBertrand Derrick Jensen does a deep dive into this issue in Bright Green Lies - very well worth one’s time to read his work on this

@DustyMcBear@JanJekielek When injecting healthy people with a novel substance the first thing, above all, that ethics - and common sense and decency demands - is knowledge (as opposed to hope or belief) that they will not be harmed by the process
@DustyMcBear@JanJekielek The principle of first do no harm engages the precautionary principle. Injecting the control group with another vaccine that, itself, has not been tested against a placebo negates both and is profoundly unethical.

DVLA continues to use this fast-track court system, despite its flaws
The government continues to operate it
When will someone get a grip?
Your constituent @EmmaforWycombe
How is this in the public interest ? The cost of the prosecution would far outstrip this. Wasn’t even as if he was using it - he neglected to file a SORN !
Way to go to make this young man’s life possibly even harder.
The Administration's strategy is to label its targets "terrorists" and "gang members" as a means of ending the argument. Those of us who believe individuals have rights and should not be deported without any kind of due process are likewise dismissed as terror or gang supporters. This is right out of the playbook of tyrants.
@JoshWalkos I've heard this talk - fascinating - for anyone whose inetrested in this subject, Forrest Maready's book, The Moth in the Iron Lung, is extremely worthwhile.
Repealing No Jab No Pay is not an anti-vaccine position – it’s a pro-choice, pro-ethics position.
Did you know it's the only law in the world that ties a person’s access to social support payments to compliance with a medical procedure?

@jen_keesmaat If Canada wants democracy then journalists absolutely MUST put politicians on the spot and persist in getting answers to uncomfortable questions
Ireland is the only country in the world to have a musical instrument as it's national symbol. 200 years ago, British occupiers made it illegal to possess a harp and set out to burn every harp in Ireland in a failed attempt to kill the Irish spirit!
Happy St Patrick's day 💚
Today the Committee voted AGAINST making it an explicit duty for doctors to explain there may be complications when they take drugs to end their lives, and that they may not get "safe, pain-free, curated deaths sold by campaigners". Simon Opher MP dismissed concerns as scare stories.
