Upon reaching home, their mother discovered the heartbreaking truth in the laundry room - Jaycee had ended his own life by shooting himself.

A few weeks prior, Jaycee had come out to his schoolmates, only to be met with harsh criticism and continuous torment, which ultimately led him to make the tragic decision.

Despite having a supportive family who accepted him immediately and provided a loving home environment, the cruel treatment from his peers was unbearable.

Their mother’s words resonate deeply: “If only the world were kinder, I would still have six children, not five.”

This story is a poignant reminder of the importance of kindness and acceptance in our society.
