@LegendaryEnergy But if you wanted the Epstein files released or some spending cuts, you received the full wrath of Trump and got a multi million dollar campaign sent to your district with the purpose of unseating you.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@unusual_whales But yet Trump ordered a primary opponent and $30 million campaign to unseat Massie.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@Osint613 This is what we voted for?

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@RepThomasMassie First thing that will happen is Trump will reauthorize whatever policy this action was granted under.

@AlanMyron @profstonge Average salary for US worker is $65k

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@esqlegaleagle @profstonge Thats the void China would be filling.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@QPatriotAngel @profstonge So the Chines cars should be allowed in?

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@MR3Dev @profstonge only way those loans get written is if the government backs them, but I guess that is what you are insinuating since you preface your statement with "I am not usually for regulation but".
It has nothing to do with the terms on the loans.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@clantro417 @profstonge Average yearly salary is $65k and a new car is $50k. China can supply a new car for $10k. Why are you against allowing more than half the country access to affordable cars? And don’t cite the lack of financial responsibility as the reason, as that is simply not the case.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone And even when China put export controls on these minerals it was still cheaper to buy them in China, meaning it wasn't a burden to the importing countries. This isn't in the same category as automobiles and shipping containers, though.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone This has more to do with security. You can't apply this to automobiles and then turnaround and say it's not the same as when China tried to monopolize the shipping container industry.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone your comment is here

[Docbeez69 @docbeez6952752]

@FooteFriend @DeItaone And you lying fuck the chinks monopolized the refining of critical minerals to the point where they run most of the planets refining, and they used it against the US during the trade war. So the chinks do absolutely monopolize an industry and try to fuck the world with it.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone This has more to do with security. You can't apply this to automobiles and then turnaround and say it's not the same as when China tried to monopolize the shipping container industry.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone is ridiculous. Otherwise, give me an example of an industry where this occured.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone Glad to see you are an expert on the manufacturing of those two items, but it makes zero sense to say automobile manufacturing is the only industry that can be monopolized and used against EVERY COUNTRY ON THE PLANET to the point they become subservient to the Chinese,

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone prices of the containers to reap the "reward" of their "efforts", but maybe you have an example of this happening in another industry.

[Foote Friend @FooteFriend]

@docbeez6952752 @DeItaone Surely this has happened already with all the things China exports at low cost.
Only thing close that I could find was shipping containers. China spent 30+ years trying to monopolize the shipping container business only for it to fall apart when they tried to raise the.....

🇺🇸 US GOVERNMENT JUST FOOLED EVERYONE WITH TODAY'S PCE DATA

Today, US PCE inflation dropped to 3.4%, its lowest level in 6 months.

This led to a pump across stocks, gold, silver, and crypto.

But before this data release, some key changes were made to the way PCE is calculated, which can make reported inflation look lower.

The BEA changed how portfolio management, software, and legal services are measured inside PCE.

The biggest change was portfolio management.

Earlier, they used a price index to estimate how much prices were rising.

Now, they first estimate how much of the service people are consuming using employment-based data, then calculate the implied price change from spending.

They also changed the price indexes used for software and legal services.

RBC estimated these methodology changes could lower annual core PCE by around 0.18 percentage points.

These changes were part of BEA’s annual statistical update, and older data was also revised.

So inflation may actually be cooling, but part of the lower reported number can also come from how inflation is now calculated.

And it also shows that if inflation doesn’t fall enough, the government can simply change the way it is calculated to make it look lower.
