@helenczerski Big question. Good (big) reports available on the renewables side from @LDESCouncil, especially the report from COP26 on how storage enables a low cost transition. More broadly, @ETC_energy tend to do some of the best work (I think) on different pathways to net zero.
Accelerating long-duration energy storage innovation can significantly reduce annual CO2 emissions and lay the foundation for a net-zero economy by 2050.
@adam_jb_long@helenczerski From videos I’ve seen, very quickly. It would necessarily start from a point and prooogate, there would be many sites start at a similar time.
@footworkselby That was suggested by @helenczerski I’m no expert but i find it very hard to imagine that wind wavelets would be preserved in such an event. How fast could it propagate?
Excited to see the result of Ceres' collaboration with Bosch - reliable, scalable and environmentally-friendly power plants - being officially opened in Wernau today. #SOFC#cleantech#hydrogen
To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, here are just a few of the brilliant and inspiring team of female engineers we have working across Ceres. We’re always looking for the very best talent to join the team. Visit https://t.co/dKiG0LC0dF for information. #INWED2020
Surely we'd see if EdF can actually build an EPR before starting another one?? Hinckley C was supposed to have been completed in 2017. Now it's on course to cost at least £23bn, the most expensive object on earth. Is this new application some sort of joke? https://t.co/ibRMhKFy54
@FullyChargedDan I wonder if one of your famous polls for how many EV owners have log burners? Just for interest, not for shame! Time to usher in the #postcombustionera
@CeresPower CTO Mark Selby on stage discussing the cooperation on clean power with @BoschGlobal CDO Michael Bolle. A great example of an #IoT and #AI driven solution to tackle energy challenges! #BCW20
