@UTFR_Livelong@fryer1989@cheesewedge92@LFC@SkySportsNews@talkSPORT The issue is you cannot see the elephant in the room specifically re Savile chants. Forget Hillsborough - every single club we play brings it up, forgetting the victims. Our fans have largely grown up about it, other clubs need to do the fans
@UTFR_Livelong@fryer1989@cheesewedge92@LFC@SkySportsNews@talkSPORT You are deliberately missing the point. ‘Crossing a line’ is also not a good way to think of it - there is always added context that sadly people overlook
It is fine to realise it’s a vile chant after you’ve sung it - you don’t need to deflect if you were singing it on Saturday
@UTFR_Livelong@fryer1989@cheesewedge92@LFC@SkySportsNews@talkSPORT My point is there’s clearly something wrong with Savile chants
I think majority who sing Savile chants don’t think first - it’s vile and maybe they wouldn’t if they did
Do you really think they want his name bringing up while 3k are pointing at them every week?
@UTFR_Livelong@fryer1989@cheesewedge92@LFC@SkySportsNews@talkSPORT Not even worth engaging with if that’s your outlook. Total lack of critical thinking or you’re deliberately playing stupid
Vile chant, awful experience for those in the crowd, brought up unprovoked by whoever we play. Ring any bells?
@UTFR_Livelong@fryer1989@cheesewedge92@LFC@SkySportsNews@talkSPORT Nothing wrong with that? There is bound to be many people in the home end at elland road every week who are Savile’s victims, just like there are people in Liverpool’s away ends who were at hillsborough. Think about it
Why hasn’t the serious risk of 3:1 or 4:1 AA supervision ratios been highlighted? If a consultant is handling a major anaesthetic issue in one theatre, they cannot by default supervise others, seriously compromising patient safety!
