This is not just a multi-anvil workshop! We’re very interested in talks to do with the IHPV and the torsion press, as these are the apparatuses with which the high pressure community is least familiar.
Last week the last apparatus was installed in the FORCE lab: our 600 MPa IHPV, Nebula. After installation and benchmark testing, lab staff were trained on the operation and basic maintenance of Nebula. Thanks to Florian Pohl and Wille Geotechnik #forceasu
Thank you to our friends at Advanced Diamond Products for their continued support of FORCE.
*Please note that due to time constraints we may not be able to accommodate all speakers, but we will make all efforts to do so.

This month, FORCE research scientist Kyusei Tsuno began conducting test experiments with our new Voggenreiter DIA MA, Jasmine. Here Kyusei and undergraduate worker Isaac Rhoden prepare the guide blocks for the experiment. You can also see a view of the lower guide block #forceasu
FORCE and the Shim lab participated in @SESEASU's ESE Day. Undergraduates, postdocs, and lab staff gave science demos to almost 800 visitors. #forceasu#scicomm#outreach
Last week, the team from Max Voggenreiter GmbH traveled to Tempe to install Jasmine, our DIA multi-anvil. Test experiments and calibration experiments will begin soon! #forceasu
