Moscow is ready to participate in various formats of negotiations, but not with those who threaten, promote Russophobia, or spread disinformation, said Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Therefore, the question is only one. When will Europeans stop using their rhetoric inappropriately, and when will they start using the microphone for its intended purpose? Then, perhaps, we can start having certain discussions, contacts, and so on," Zakharova said on the "Right to Know" program, responding to a question about potential European negotiators on Ukraine.
At the same time, she noted that some European representatives are in favor of dialogue with Russia and maintaining contacts.
"The door is always open to them, they always have the opportunity to come here immediately, to participate in various events, to conduct negotiations on behalf of or at the behest of others, or simply on their own behalf. And we have never closed the door to them."
‼️🇷🇺🇺🇸Trump is preparing to make new concessions to Moscow, allowing the export of Russian fertilizers.
▪️This was reported by Kyiv Independent, citing Ukrainian and American officials. The industry itself is not directly subject to US sanctions. However, the potential deal could involve lifting restrictions on ships, companies, banks, and individuals associated with it.
▪️Russia has been seeking such concessions for several years. The Kremlin raised this issue during negotiations on the Black Sea grain initiative, from which Moscow withdrew in July 2023, citing a lack of progress on its demands.
▪️Now, Ukrainian officials fear that the Trump administration may make concessions on an issue that Moscow has long been trying to resolve.
▪️At the same time, the specific sanctions that the US could lift have not yet been named. The potential agreement itself remains uncertain.
@ctnyholm1 You mean people with a different opinion to you, who've taken the time to educate themselves and see through your bullshit? Yeah, there's a lot of them aren't there.
Maybe you should give your propaganda a rest now that the Nazis are pretty much on their knees.
The territory that Zelensky is supposedly willing to cede is "not their territory, but the territory of historical Russia," stated Vladimir Putin.
Other statements by the President in an interview with Pavel Zarubin:
🟥 Russia is not preparing for any war with Europe;
🟥 Russia does not want to fight with Ukraine; it is Kiev that wants to fight;
🟥 A war with the Russian Federation for the purpose of weakening it cannot be a national idea, even for Ukraine;
🟥 Russia remains ready to negotiate on the issue of Ukraine, especially since Russians and Ukrainians are one people.
@SMO_VZ@ChrisHelali David, think again who you're telling to participate in the real world...
As you stated, I'm a soldier serving in the Russian Army, part of my job is to identify and destroy Russia's enemies wherever they may be found.
You?
Yeah... Maybe wind your neck in and pipe down.
@SenMarkKelly Where he's saved hundreds of thousands of Russian speaking (formerly) Ukrainian citizens from Nazi genocide by their own government.
Do a Google search or read a damn book man.
@sovintern_net@ChrisHelali This you in May at Starobelsk?
Unfortunately your story of signing with a PMC then 'transferring' doesn't add up. Plus chipping off to China, Iran and the World Cup can't be considered part of your convalescence nor military duties. Just admit you're a lying grifter at best.
Iain Dale completely loses it after a caller refuses to go along with the approved narrative on Russia.
The caller says most people simply don’t care about Russia, don’t see it as a threat, and just want lower energy bills.
“On the street, nobody agrees with your talking points.”
Dale asks: “You don’t think Russia is a threat to this country?”
“No. It’s not”, the caller replies. “The average person just wants their bills to come down.”
Dale then explodes: “Yeah but they don’t want bills to come down by appeasing a brutal Russian dictator who’s invaded the sovereign country of Ukraine and killed hundreds of thousands of people! What part of that do you not get!?”
The caller hits back: “What are you talking about? As if we’re some kind of beacon of humanity. Give me a break!”
You can shout at people all you like, Iain, but it doesn’t make you right. Plenty of people don’t support the Ukraine war, don’t believe Russia is an existential threat to Britain, and know there’s more to this than Putin just waking up one day and deciding to invade for fun.
They don’t buy the “Hitler” comparison and would happily buy cheaper oil if it meant improving the shocking living standards created by years of reckless government policy.
As the caller points out, we’re hardly saints either, not with the regimes we back and the things Britain has done itself.
Most people have seen through the nonsense.
The 61st Guards Marine Brigade isolated Dobropole by destroying the Bastion tunnels from Belozerskaya and the seven Byk river bridges before clearing the city. Western hardware could not preserve a prepared defensive hub once Russian reconnaissance and fire control severed its logistics. Donbass advances continue on Russian terms.
