@BBCSteveR@BBCSingers@BBCRadio3 I visit this site infrequently these days, but this little island of hope and humanity has made the effort worthwhile. The world I suspect needs more Valentina's, and fewer posturing politicians.
@rialina_ As would I - add me to the invite list. So looking forward to the mock humility and the 'how it's now time to listen to the people' tropes from the defeated candidates. Personally, I'd have them marched through the streets in irons. I know, a little harsh, but as a spectacle.
@edgarwright Well this has made me feel old. I lived next door to the Winchester (Duke of Albany) when the filming took place. Still remember having to navigate zombies, and a street strewn with body parts to get to work. Memorable days and a very happy anniversary to everyone involved.
@CarolineLucas@GreenJennyJones@EllaRobertaFdn@CleanAirLondon I wish you every success with this. I was dismayed last year when this failed to get the necessary support, especially from MPs within polluted urban constituencies. I reached out on multiple occasions to my own MP on this issue but was ignored. Simply refused to engage.
@rialina_ I had left this site, for various, and quite obvious reasons, but just checked in and read this, and the associated thread and remembered it does occasionally throw up gems. Good exposition of why autism often feels like swimming against a strong current.
@CarolineLucas I find this so profoundly offensive that words fail me. Science is a methodology. You can't simply use 'woke' as a thought terminating cliche, to rubbish the evidence you don't like and then posture as a responsible government. This is appauling.
@estherabrami I think we know the answer to this question. Personally, I was much more focused on the beauty of the Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin (?). Art is so much more important than base human instincts. I'm so sorry we live in such a trivialising society.
@JamesOzden It's going be to be interesting hearing the Rhisisplaning of this decision. Pragmatism and proportionality, I'd guess, with sincere eyes and mild offense that anyone would question his motives.
@JamesOzden Apparently panic and confusion in Downing Street about how badly this pre-announcement has gone down. Who would of guessed? Looks like we can add new levels of political incompetency to their moral bankruptcy. I despair.

@Rugbyworldmag A little harsh, because England have been consistently underwhelming, and despite no clear game plan (to my uneducated eyes) they've won have two games they could have lost. It hasn’t been great to watch, that’s true. Not really interesting enough to qualify as repulsive rugby.

A short film about why the dirtiest and most antisocial economic interests dominate our politics. I believe it's the key to understanding the terrible state we're in.
