@riotgrrill It did sound like we all got the sack! The truth is that we did all choose to leave!

Year 2 having a wonderful time at forest school this afternoon!!

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

Today marks the end of my 6 year Forest Activities journey. I’ve loved every minute of it & enjoyed watching the children try all my activities with enthusiasm whatever the weather! Never say never but for now I’m hoping new adventures are waiting. Thanks for all the support🍄

[Class 1 @cp_class1]

Finally we each got a teddy and showed them our forest school! 🧸🌳

[Class 1 @cp_class1]

We then made a fire and made yummy popcorn! We even had a cup full as a mid morning snack🍿 After that we chalked and mud painted the plant pots and tires, so much fun!

[Class 1 @cp_class1]

Fabulous morning at forest school! We started by being mini beast detective, we went on a hunt to find as many as possible 🐞🦟🕷🐜🪳

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

Abit wetter this morning @CalderPrimary but KS1 still managed to have a fun morning of bug hunting, mark making & a popcorn fire before the rain set in!🤩

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

A busy, fun morning with @CalderPrimary & the sun is shining! Just setting up for this afternoons group 🔥

[Class 2 @cp_class2]

What a super morning we are having so far! Super shelter building which has used lots of teamwork and problem solving. They were all waterproof too!

[Class 2 @cp_class2]

Whittling time! We are using the peelers to successfully whittle!

[Class 2 @cp_class2]

Popcorn by the fire!

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

We’ve had a wonderful year of exploring, investigating, planting, creating and just enjoying our outside spaces. Make sure your summer is filled with nature🌳❤️

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

Class 4 had a wonderful explore of the woodland this morning & found lots of creatures living amongst the undergrowth, even a frog (or was it a toad, we couldn’t decide!)

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

Today Class 5 were using tools to make bug friendly natural materials to go into the bug hotel in the nature area 🐞

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

Class 6 had their last Forest Activities this afternoon. We had lots of fun plus ice pops & some amazing sunshine art even on a cloudy day! You’ve been a great group to work with 🤩

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

Fabulous Forest art with class 1 using things we found in the woodland as paint brushes 🎨

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

We thought about the food our outdoor spaces give us & made fruit kebabs with Reception, lots of happy yummy noises! 🍓

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

A few more!

[ForestJo @ForestJo21]

It was like Christmas opening the tie dyes this afternoon with class 6 @BurnleyRoad! The colours and patterns look beautiful 🤩
