The Geneva Convention says itโs a war crime to target journalists, even if they work for an enemy organisation. Itโs also a war crime to target medical workers. After the killing of 3 Lebanese TV journos last week, several medics coming to help them were killed as well.

@sstrangio I went to see that bridge. It is undamaged and traffic was flowing normally. Thailand has not reported any air strikes in that area. If a Thai plane did drop bombs they did not hit anywhere close to the bridge. But people here very frightened and many IDPs left camp at Srei Snam.
Fighting along the ThailandโCambodia border has left Thai villages near the frontier badly damaged and largely deserted. Villagers told us they want the conflict to end quickly so they can live and work peacefully.
