30 years ago, I went to a village in the outskirts of Salem, while washing my hand in a public tap , I found worms in the water, then i came to know that people in that village used this water for drinking and cooking.
When I climbed the tank I saw a cesspool inside. Dead cats, crows, slippers, bottles etc. the tank had no lid. It was a 30000 ltr over head drinking water tank.
There were 3 other tanks in the same village, each was worse than the other. Spoke to the village president, he expressed his helplessness. Then I approached the BDO ( Block development officer) he said every panchayat gets funds it's upto them to do the cleaning , everyone in the bureaucracy was driving me from pillar to post just to clean the tank in public interest
People of course were expecting others to do the cleaning. So as a trial I got permission from the village president to clean the tank , i employed few boys to do the job. These water tanks were not cleaned for many many years before that. While cleaning 🧹 we removed one feet thick of black sediments from each tank. Then we gave a coat of white cement inside, and put a lid where it was missing.
The response from the people was overwhelming, the word spread and village after village invited us to get the water tanks cleaned. In each tank we painted the last cleaned date, this became a trend, every three months I sent my boys to clean the tanks. At one stage we were serving over 150 villages in Salem district, we did this service for 12 years and ensured every village got clean potable drinking water
If serving people is politics so be it
Gurundervir ran a 10.09 sec 100m. A new national record. The previous national record was created in the semi-final.
A pivotal moment will come when India will break the 10 sec barrier. China has 9.83s
West Bengal govt has decided to transfer 120 acres of land in the Chicken's Neck (Siliguri Corridor) to the Centre.
India must conduct massive deportation drives in the Chicken’s Neck region. It is the only overland link connecting the rest of India to the Northeastern region.
In times of conflict or crisis, illegal Bangladeshi settlements in the Chicken’s Neck will support Bangladesh, not India.
Sharing a few memorable moments from the visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to my residence today.
A truly special , honoured and cherished occasion for me and my family.

வாசுதேவநல்லூர் மக்களே, நன்றி. 🙏
The verdict is in — and while Tamil Nadu has chosen a new beginning, I stand humbled and grateful!
We won 128 of 310 booths and finished second by just 6,500 votes. To the 56,462 voters who placed their faith in us — your love is the true victory! 🙏
Congratulations to the winning DMK candidate; I wish him every success in serving our long-underserved constituency. Best wishes also to the TVK, NTK and every candidate who took this journey with conviction.
This is not the end of my journey — it is the beginning. My commitment to Tenkasi multiplies from today. Together, we will build the developed, self-reliant Tenkasi we deserve.
To our BJP and NDA leadership — my deepest gratitude for the privilege of representing the alliance in this festival of democracy.
The work continues…

Four years ago, I sat down with my 12-year-old daughter in the US and told her I was walking away from a successful tech career and real estate business to return to India for public service and politics.
At that age, she didn’t realize “public life” would slowly take her Appa away from her for months… and years.
But I came with conviction.
So for the last 4 years, we gave everything we had — for example -In villages like Subramaniapuram and Vellanaikottai, we built bus shelters, restored a 100-acre pond, removed seemai karuvelam, strengthened bunds, planted thousands of palm saplings, supported students’ education, organized medical camps and career workshops, built community sheds, encouraged youth and sports activities, and contributed to annadanams.
It cost several ten lakhs of hard-earned money - just for this village alone. But more than money, it cost time… family moments… and precious years watching my daughter grow up from far away.
Then elections came.
And the same village chose a candidate who had barely visited them in five years.
In the end, one week of election-time money defeated four years of sincere service.
Yesterday, my daughter quietly asked me over video call:
“Appa… can you now tell me what exactly politics is?”
For the first time in my life, I did not have an answer for my chellaponnu.

Hass hass ke pet dukhne laga 🤣🤣
Never imagined people of Bengal will openly dance on the streets to the Remix of “Hamba Hamba Ramba Ramba” 🥳😍
This is what freedom from dictatorship looks like 🚩
Bigger the dictator, harder they fall 🔥🔥
Mahindra sold more tractors in North America last year than John Deere sold in India by a factor of about 6.
The Mahindra 1626 is now the best-selling sub-compact tractor in the US under 30 HP, and most of the buyers have no idea it's Indian.
The trick was simple and slightly unfair.
Mahindra figured out in the early 2000s that the American hobby-farm and acreage-owner segment five acres, a horse, a fence to fix was being ignored by Deere and Kubota, who were optimizing for 200 HP row-crop machines with $80k price tags.
Mahindra walked in with a 26 HP diesel built in Nagpur, sold it for $13k through tractor dealers in Texas and Tennessee, and quietly took the bottom of the market.
The Nagpur plant ships about 50,000 units a year to North America now. Deere's India JV with TAFE shipped its last tractor in 2024 and folded.
The lesson isn't that India makes cheap tractors.
It's that the global tractor market had a 30 HP hole in it for two decades and an Indian company was the only one paying attention.

Presenting the Mahindra ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle)
No excess. No ornamentation.
Just focussed capability.
Every bar, every mount, every inch of clearance has a job to do. From airdrop readiness to mission-grade protection, a gun mount, complete underbody protection, tandem tyre carrier configuration, jerrycan holders, a windshield protector & a front winch ensuring enhanced survivability, versatility, and operational effectiveness across diverse terrains.
Purpose-built for our security forces, & proud to serve them
But to me, this is more than a specialised machine.
This is what our DNA looks like… stripped to its essentials
It’s a window into what sits at the heart of every Mahindra vehicle: resilience, adaptability, and the will to go anywhere…
I bow down to the people of TN for your verdict. Happy to see in my land, people have risen in one voice and spoken
1. No to buying of votes
2. No to dynastic Politics
& yes to a generational shift in politics.
Whoever gets it done has actually done a favour to all!
Congrats and best wishes to TVK & Thiru @TVKVijayHQ avl for a spectacular debut in TN politics. Let Almighty be with you to do what you intend to do.
And to all NDA candidates, it was a hard-fought battle on the ground. Congrats to all those who won, and for those who couldn’t register a victory this time, let’s keep fighting.
Commiserations to Thiru @mkstalin avl & Thiru @Seeman4TN avl for your loss in this election!
Finally & most importantly, I thank my dear @BJP4TamilNadu cadres and leaders for toiling hard on the ground. Better times will come soon!
A rare jewel of the Eastern Ghats is finally getting the attention it deserves.
Under the able leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri @ncbn garu and the strong direction of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri @PawanKalyan garu, The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department, in collaboration with the Eastern Ghats Wildlife Society, has initiated a conservation status survey of the Peacock Tarantula (Poecilotheria metallica) in the vast landscape of the Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve (NSTR).
This species is Critically Endangered and endemic to a very small region of eastern ghats in Andhra Pradesh, making it one of world's most unique and vulnerable arachnids.
Understanding its distribution and population is a crucial step toward securing its future in the wild.
Because conservation isn’t just about the iconic species — it’s also about protecting the rare, the endemic, and the irreplaceable.
This is one of many such stories to come.

September 2016. We were close to shutting down.
100 farmers. 2,500 litres of milk. And we still couldn’t solve basic feeding problems. Everything was breaking. This wasn’t a market problem. It was a science problem at the core of farming.
We decided to invest in agricultural R&D. ₹70 lakhs was required over the next three years. We didn’t have the money.
We asked Anil Kumar, founder and CEO of @samunnati for debt—on a loss-making balance sheet. He said yes. That decision changed everything for Akshayakalpa.
We moved from 3.1 kg → 11.1 kg herd average today.
19,000 animals | 2,800 farms | ₹30+ crores/year in R&D.
Same land. Same people. Same system. Different outcomes. We underestimate research. Especially in agriculture. And that might be our biggest mistake.
SC groups (original) in Anakapalli (Andhra Pradesh) staged protest in front of Collectorate demanding immediate implementation of the Supreme Court ruling that SC reservations apply only to real (Hindu) SCs.
They also sought action against misuse of SC certificates by Christian converts and called for strict enforcement of court orders.
Why does a caste census matter?
India last counted its castes in 1931. But Telangana decided to do it in 2024.
State surveyed 3.55 crore people across 242 caste groups, door to door.
I read every page. More I read, More convinced I got why it's needed.

If you go through even HALF of these…
You’ll be ahead of 95% of people using AI.
Most people won’t.
Because they’re still:
• Watching random YouTube videos
• Buying overpriced courses
• “Learning AI” without actually building
Don’t be that person.
Do this instead:
1. Save this post (you’ll come back to it)
2. Pick 1 course → start today
3. Share it with someone who needs this
Free. Practical. No excuses.
