@FreddyLA7 It may make for a longer drive but taking the smaller highways on a cross country trip opens up a whole new world. Hwy 90 between New Orleans and Lafayette might look rough around the edges but you'll find the nicest people and some of the best food in the country there.
Why did they call it for Bass when she was only 4 points up on Pratt but didn't call it for Pratt when he was 7 points up on Raman. It's almost like they knew what mail in ballots where going to come in? Wow they must be psychic.
@Badhombre When a policy has 84% support among the population, but the government refuses to pass the legislation, that means the government no longer represents the people.
God, give us the strength to get through this week, and the next, and many many more to come. This child of mine has cancer and we humbly ask again for prayers for Britton. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in God's mercy, in his goodness, and grace.
I waited patiently for the Lord's help; then he listened to me and heard my cry.
He pulled me out of a dangerous pit, out of the deadly quicksand. He set me safely on a rock and made me secure.
He taught me to sing a new song, a song of praise to our God.
Many who see this will put their trust in the Lord. May all who come to you be glad and joyful. May all who are thankful for your salvation always say, "How great is the Lord!" I am weak and poor, O LORD but you have not forgotten me. You are my savior and my God- hurry to my aid!
Psalms 40:16-17
@Ron_Anderson65 Start with the book of Psalms. David was a man after God's own heart and his psalms perfectly embodies how to seek and pursue God, especially in times of need.
Houston, your skyline will forever be etched in my mind. To recall a memory is to think of conversions past, of people, events, places. Houston, once upon a time to me meant Astro World, the Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Astro Dome. Now you are the people, the providers that work tirelessly to care for others. Thank you.
