I have been interviewing authors for my work as a librarian during lock down. Largely local to Berkshire. They have all been white. If you are an author of colour, please DM me if you want to arrange a zoom interview so we can talk about promoting your work! #authors #BLM

Last night, the Russian army struck the center of Dobropillya in the Donetsk region with two ballistic missiles. After our emergency services arrived at the scene, they launched another strike, deliberately targeting the rescuers. This is a vile and inhumane intimidation tactic often used by the Russians.

Tragically, at this moment, 11 people are confirmed dead. My condolences to their families and loved ones. More than 30 people were injured, including 5 children. Eight five-story apartment buildings, an administrative facility, and a fire truck were damaged.

I thank all the emergency services, police, SES personnel, and medics who, despite the threat of repeated strikes, remain undaunted and are saving people from this terror. To everyone who defends lives while risking their own.

Such strikes show that Russia's objectives have not changed. Therefore, it is crucial to continue to do our best to protect lives, strengthen our air defenses, and increase sanctions against Russia. Everything that helps Putin finance the war must collapse.

Today, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde boldly called out Donald Trump for his hatred and bigotry at the National Cathedral Prayer Service. Now, the GOP is attacking her for speaking truth to power.

RETWEET if you stand with Bishop Budde against Trump!

The NHS is by no means perfect, but no one in the UK has ever been declared bankrupt because of medical bills.

Yet.

We must never take our NHS for granted - please RT if you agree.
