nobody is “avoidant” with someone they actually want to be with. if they’re “avoidant,” they don’t like you! no amount of therapy language or patience or forcing conversations or begging or otherwise letting them treat you like dry cat vomit they found on the carpet will fix it.
this take couldn’t be farther from the truth. “tattyo” comes from both sides, but beds, sofas, ACs, wardrobes etc. are traditionally expected from the bride’s family. some demand it, some don’t, but the expectation remains. that’s the reality of so-called progressive Bengal.
