We were partial to the odd, the experimentally unexpected, the grotesquely heartwarming.

Peace out, peeps!
Let's talk about money. Writers should always get paid. Also, we need to stop pretending like having one or three jobs isn't a hell of an obstacle in terms of time & energy. The starving writer thing isn't fun. It's okay to want to get paid and sleep well knowing rent is covered.
@decompmagazine Sad to see this tremendous mag go in cryosleep. On the other hand, we believe to understand the reasons behind this decision, having gone through the same ourselves. We wish the minds behind this project to soon find their best-fitting footing.
@CryptoNature@AgapeEditions Cacti with their perseverance and thriving despite arid conditions (and general human indifference toward their unflowerness) is Our definition of sacred.
The end is such because it's unavoidable. Tomorrow or next year or (unlikely) next century--it's pulling you, teleologically, toward itself. Have you consciously accepted that yet? How has it changed your everyday life? Will it change it at all?
#TuesdayThoughts?
@Ames236 The theme is Post-End. The end of what is left to the author to interpret, as is the angle from which to approach it--in a melancholic, regretful, liberating, or cathartic way. What does being "after" mean to you, awake in you, kill in you.
@Ames236 None. As we said, the issue is mostly for the folks who've been following us for all this time, even after we "stopped being", on Twitter. We accept flash (up to 1k words) and poetry. One work per sub per peep.
2+ years since we had to unfortunately close down, we still receive submissions. It puts things into perspective. We're grateful, but saddened for not being able to fulfill such expectations.
Today I am grateful to @formercactus and @bestmicrofic for including me among such talented and beautiful work. What you’re all doing for the genre of micro fiction is truly remarkable.
So excited that my microfiction piece (nominated by @formercactus who were gracious enough to give it a home in the first place) will be in this anthology. I couldn’t be more honored to be among such talented writers in this growing genre. 💕
And @ErikFuhrer, whom I could never find on Twitter before now whilst adoring his work, had this killer piece in @formercactus:
