Just for the record re: posting about animals, and really anything else.
I am not an expert and will never claim to be. I am exactly what it says in my bio, and I defer to real expertise in all things.
I just love to talk about things that I love.
@Dannyboi407@AKBrews At a guess, a Wels Catfish.
A freshwater apex predator that used to be kept to normal catfish sizes by scarce food and cold water in central Europe.
Planted by humans in Spain, Italy, the south of France and Brazil, they've taken advantage of warmth and food to become monsters.
@Dannyboi407@JeremyBRoberts I really don't do urgently anymore.
Like 100% sure it's a horn shark.
But surety makes me nervous on this app. Always feel like I'm being set up.
@Dannyboi407@JeremyBRoberts@388shark Still trying to draw me back on to the twitters, still not following me on the platform that shall not be named.
Doc.
Come on buddy.
(*sigh* yes it's legit, given it's basically an ID guide copy/paste. Not a criticism btw. Copying real data is better than what some do here.)
@Dannyboi407 Seems like a lot of energy and laborer hours to deal with a problem we knowingly create.
Also, how do the spawn make it down to the sea again, exactly?
Good old fashioned fish ladders go both ways.
