On July 1, Senate Bill 63 begins — effectively outlawing community and charity bail funds in the state of Georgia.

That means we have until July 1 to raise money for @ForTheFAAM & @BarredBusiness, as they provide direct support.

Jails and prisons go against everything that Reproductive Justice stands for. They deny people bodily autonomy, safe conditions, and vital resources.

This week the Free Atlanta Abolition Movement & @BarredBusiness embark on their fourth Black Mamas Bail Out, a program where we free Black mothers and caregivers from Atlanta area cages — those stuck in pretrial detention simply because they can’t afford bail
