🚨 Israeli and U.S. fighter jets reportedly entered Iranian airspace today, triggering emergency military alerts across the country.

▪️ The aircraft reportedly entered near Oshnavieh, flew through western Iran and then withdrew without attacking.

▪️ Sources claim Iranian radar failed to detect them, with ground observers instead reporting their presence.

▪️ Military bases in Tabriz and Urmia were reportedly evacuated as Islamic Republic forces reacted.

▪️ In Tehran, an IRGC Tharallah Headquarters meeting was reportedly abruptly abandoned after a fighter jet passed over the capital, followed by an immediate alert.

▪️ Separate reports describe heightened air-defense activity, GPS interference and evacuations at some buildings in Tehran.

If accurate, the most alarming part is that Israeli and U.S. aircraft may have penetrated deep into Iranian airspace, triggered emergency responses and then left without firing a shot.

Something has clearly put the Islamic Republic’s military and security apparatus on edge today.

Israeli/American military aircraft flew over Iran tonight, visible to people on the ground.

I've seen images (which for the sake of the sake of protecting the source I won't share) of several fighter jets flying at a fairly low altitude.

It wasn't an attack, so what was it?

If I am to guess, they are testing the islamic regime's defences and reaction speed while planning something far more serious depending on how it went.

Apparently, no defences triggered and the only response was sending some regime unit into a panic. I'm sure it gave the American/Israeli side plenty of info.

Very interesting weeks ahead.

@Oh_Poppycock @BrianEntin The foreperson speaks on behalf of the jury. This isn’t uncommon. I’ve sat in a trial before where a juror caused a problem and the judge called them in to voir dire them with attorneys present to determine if they were biased or not.

@TamitateinOk @BrianEntin No one is negating what happened. The outrage should be pointed at the prosecution because they did an absolutely terrible job pushing back on defenses claims. The 11 not guilty is because of their failure to prove what she did.

@suzi_craft @BrianEntin I’m not really sure what you just wrote 😂 I used to work in defense and have been through trials. This inference is coming from foreman notes that this juror was refusing to follow instruction on reasonable doubt. Juror interviews after will reveal more.

@Roseypeetz @PalisadianElle @BrianEntin Maybe, maybe not. The other jurors seemed to indicate in the notes that he wasn’t listening to the instruction on reasonable doubt. If they poll jurors and it comes out he was biased, that’s a problem.

@charliebayer8 @BrianEntin I know everyone is acting like it is so clear cut. It’s not. If people want to be mad, they should be mad at the prosecution because they did a terrible job.

@tstjohn34 @BrianEntin Correct the state didn’t meet the burden of proof. This isn’t a surprise, they were a hot mess during the trial until the end when they cleaned it up a bit during closing arguments.

@CrownedBritt @BrianEntin If mistrial holds the state needs to lower the charges to meet the burden easier for a conviction. I used to work in defense and prosecution always runs a risk when they overcharge. This is a good example of this.

@CrownedBritt @BrianEntin More facts that this. This is the Twitter version of prosecution facts. If it was this clear cut, trial would’ve been a day long. They couldn’t prove it was her who searched it because it was on husbands computer at a time she wasn’t home. Too many issues for state.

@quebonita1137 @BrianEntin Correct. They should’ve never pushed for murder one knowing the facts of the case. Way too much of a burden to meet.

@PalisadianElle @AUgirl2831 @BrianEntin The defense didn’t have to prove she was psychotic. Massachusetts law. The state had to prove she wasn’t. And if you had even the tiniest bit of doubt, you can’t find guilty according to the law. There were enough seeds of doubt.

@AUgirl2831 @BrianEntin Unfortunately though that’s not the only evidence in this case and you can’t make a decision based on one piece of evidence, the law requires you to look at everything presented, and the state did themselves no favors by pushing for murder 1.
