We don’t need our teachers to be the most talented, the most innovative, or the most tech savvy. We need them to care about kids… care about their craft… work well with their colleagues… and come to work every day, excited about making a difference.

Some kids have good smiles; some ask good questions; some are good at magic; some are creative; some are good helpers; some can remember lines from TV shows; some can make kids laugh; some have great handwriting. Every kid can do something well! We need to figure out what it is.
School culture starts in the parking lot. As students are being dropped off in the morning, what's the first thing they hear, see, experience? As teachers are entering the building, what's the first thing they hear, see, experience?
