@whitewall618431 Think for many it’s the first one you remember. Mine 1970. Glorious and 1st in colour. 1990 was very significant as England did well and it reconnected Football with people who shied away because of 80s violence. No doubt 1990 brought the attention of Sky too.
@tim_rolls@TheRealRads1 Proper legend, Tim. Scorer of 4th goal I saw at Bridge. Charlton League Cup Sept 1966. 3 days before scoring 5 at Villa. Shame injuries curtailed him more than 202 goals. You stated in your book with further investment the team could have challenged for title..
@odqaard Cultural impact? Chelsea were synonymous with swinging 60s in London and Kings Road. Maybe look that up too. Arsenal’s cultural impact is what? You need to read up and not lecture about history.
@odqaard You won the league but clearly still obsessed with Chelsea! Love it 👏 BTW We won more European trophies pre-2005 than Arsenal… But then you probably weren’t born. History not your strong point?
@OutsideLeft@thechelskikid Made his debut same evening as George Luke who also never played for Chelsea again.Chico Hamilton (still youngest CFC goalscorer) played his last CFC game and scored in a 3-2 defeat. Notable game! 😊
@thechelskikid@PaulRCove Rafa 2.0?? 🤣🤣 Seriously I’m looking forward to XABI sorting out the slackers and signing some experience! Hope he gets Enzo to stay! 😀
@CFCCath I’ve had a Season ticket since relegation season of 1978/79 yet you don’t know me. Seen Blues from Sunderland to Singapore… Can’t know everyone.. even you with your amazing record x
