Thank you to the robotics students at La Salle Academy for hosting a Laundry Supply Drive for our Your Way Home Program 💚
Inspired by a personal connection, your generosity will help young people and families access everyday essentials.
#FosterCareAwarenessMonth 💚
Studies show that stable housing through age 21 leads to better outcomes for youth exiting foster care.
That’s why we invest in our Your Way Home Program and build housing like our Melrose II project.
Thank you to students from Johnson & Wales University and JWU Serves 💚
Through their Day of Service, they created “new apartment” baskets for our Your Way Home program, helping young people move into a new space with the essentials they need.
Our friends at @tickettodream and @famousfootwear are celebrating our graduating youth this season with cards of congrats and Starbucks gift cards!
Thank you for uplifting our grads with words of encouragement and a gift to celebrate their hard work as they earn their diplomas.
May is Foster Care Awareness Month 💚
All month long, we’ll be sharing stories, impact, and ways you can support young people impacted by foster care.
Follow along, learn more, and take action. Every step makes a difference.
It is Financial Literacy Month 💚
Through our ASPIRE program, youth do not just learn about money. They build real savings for goals like housing, education, and transportation.
In 2024, 124 youth participated in matched savings. That is financial literacy in action.
Big news 💚
Works Wonders® has been named a 2026 Impact Award winner by the National Youth Employment Coalition!
Built with youth, the program is creating real pathways to jobs & stability, and we were proud to center youth voice on stage at the NYEC Annual Forum 2026.
April is #NationalFinancialLiteracyMonth 💚
We are proud to be part of the Partnership for Youth Financial Wellness (PYFW) through @AECFNews, which supports programs like ASPIRE. Financial literacy is more than a skill; it’s a pathway to independence and long-term stability.
Happy #NationalVolunteerWeek 💚
Thank you to our Storefront volunteers & the groups who support us throughout the year. Your time, energy, & care make this work possible. Our Storefront is powered by volunteers & because of you, young people & families have what they need.

@repkazarian State Representative Katherine Kazarian helped break ground on Center City Apartments, a development of 144 affordable apartments spanning three buildings along Taunton Avenue in East Providence. Reps Jennifer Boylan and Jenni Furtado, whose districts also include East Providence, joined as well.
The new homes were created through a partnership between @1_neighborhood, @CrossroadsRI, @fosterforward, and @FamilyServiceRI and will integrate supportive housing for people who have experienced long-term homelessness into a larger residential community.
Thank you to One Neighborhood Builders, Foster Forward, Crossroads, and Family Services of RI.
This project is turning a former blighted property into affordable housing.

This morning, Speaker @JoeShekarchi, @JulieCasimiroRI, @MASSforRep, and and Rep. Mary Duffy Messier helped break ground on new, sustainably-designed units of affordable housing to support young people leaving foster care.
The development, which is owned by @fosterforward, was made possible by the passage of a new law making it easier for Rhode Islanders to develop accessory dwelling units (or ADUs) on their properties. The new law was part of Speaker Shekarchi's ongoing efforts to increase available, affordable housing.
Today, Senator Robert Britto joined @fosterforward and other community members for a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of new, sustainably-designed affordable housing units in Pawtucket that will support young people aging out of foster care.
